NOW AND THEN
Tomorrow I shall not look
further than today's vision
of yesterday and its bleakest view.
Today I look up at the surrounds
of my existence; As I venture forth to
my path of fate I see the alarms of
the earth warning my consciousness.
Snidely the sun dares shine on my
foreground; It only breaks through
where its previous heat beckons it
back to me. Forever then do I walk
forward with hope.
