SEEING IT AS IT IS
First it wasn’t as bad as it
had seemed
Two diagnoses that allayed
her fears
despite her
feeling something
wasn’t right
Life went on as it does,
you know the routine
Time then brought more
and more worry
she knew deep down this
was more than harmless
All it took was a call
a phone call
Sudden activity soon
came into her life
Sad it was that time
had missed her
Took away her future
as it should have been
That clock was gradually
to stop for ever
Left, a grieving man and
those dear little ones
Happiness was her smiling
being all the apparent time
a strong bond with her
love and those three babes
Her
preparation continued
on, on and on
In the end it got her like it always does
She died off camera though
