Inspired by a Sunday drive through the upper Llynfi valley ending in Neath and returning by motorway to Llangynwyd.
Swished by as the car cuts through the valley route, aged by the day's toil of mist and raindrop. My valley of
people today, hunched behind their wettened valley doors with fire turned up to repel the valley cold.
Dew drop smelling of the valley 'verdure' glistens in my eye on this beauty. Huddled habitations watch in their
rows as we pass them by. Cold looks at the drop beside me, ice my mind.
